Jason Turenchalk is a 2017 1B/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Poughkeepsie, NY who attends Arlington High school. Medium build and frame with present strength and athleticism. Primary first basemen, showed good footwork and arm strength up to 81 mph across the diamond. At the plate, started with a medium hand set with a high back elbow and leg kick timing mechanism. Showed good bat speed with an up the middle approach and good torque through his lower half. Barrel fires directly to the ball with good feel for contact and lift in his swing. Good power potential in swing. Exceptional student. Named to Top Prospect List.
