Cole Campbell is a 2017 2B/3B, OF, SS with a 5-7 160 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends Lakewood Ranch HS. Has a lean build with room to continue to put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.42 second sixty yard dash. From the infield, showed quick actions while moving around the infield with easy footwork. Glove work was solid into clean transfers, gets behind throws nicely on accurate throws across. From the outfield, also had fluid actions and accurate throws. At the plate, left-handed hitter that starts with a narrow, slightly open stance. Stays short to the baseball and generates good barrel whip through the zone, hands look to stay inside the baseball. Good student.
