Colton Steepy is a 2019 2B/SS with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Olympia, WA who attends Timberline HS. Slender athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. 7.08 runner, has good quickness in the infield on defense and shows athleticism to the ball, compact arm action, tends to stop to throw and not trust his athleticism when throwing on the move, has the defensive tools to continue to develop as a second baseman. Right handed hitter, tall open stance with a good shift into contact, stays balanced well, uphill swing plane with some lift out front, swings hard and looks to drive the ball, pull to mid field contact, uses his speed well on the bases. Good student.
