Dalton Delay is a 2021 C/OF with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Linn-Mar HS. Lean frame with room to fill out in the future. Primary catcher. Releases the ball from a three-quarter arm slot with an average arm circle in back. Stays low in stance with some hip flexion. Throws showed some carry to the bag. Average transfer while able to gain ground towards the base out of the stance. Right handed hitter with an upright and even stance. Short trigger on load, keeping weight back. Rotational lower half. Keeps hands low with a loose path to contact. compact swing with a level, line drive path to contact.
