Kade Stuart is a 2018 3B/2B, RHP, OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Lonoke, AR who attends Lonoke. Large frame with athletic, slender present build; big physical projection remaining on frame. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.89 seconds. Sets up to hit with balanced stance, slightly crouched, even to the plate, leg lift trigger, does a good job turning the barrel on a line drive swing plane with good intent and bat speed. Uses lower half well, makes consistent hard contact out front, will drive the ball better with increased strength gains. Showed well defensively in two spots. Moves well to the ball with athleticism and smooth actions in the outfield, fields cleanly and has clean release with good arm strength up to 82 MPH. Good hands with smoothness in the infield as well, clean to backhand, good footwork throughout, accurate across the diamond up to 82 MPH. Pitched as well, switches between sidearm and high 3/4 arm slots, longer arm action with looseness, FB worked 74-78 with good life to the arm side, throws strikes with the pitch and fills up the zone. Showed CB with 11/5 shape and good depth; threw it for strikes consistently as well. Named to 2016 Sunshine Southeast Top Prospect List. Very good student.
