Dillon Kark is a 2019 SS with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Commerce Township, MI who attends Orchard Lake St. Marys Prep. Very athletic build, lean and wiry now with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, open start with big leg tuck load, showed the ability to get timed despite complicated load, outstanding raw bat speed, can drive the ball to all fields, attacks the ball aggressively and is looking to drive it and lift it, has high level hitting tools and a professional approach. 7.35 runner, has well balanced infield actions, can throw from different arm angles effectively, plus arm strength when feet are set, shows his athleticism well defensively, projects at third base as he matures physically and fills out, was on every pitch during the games and drove the ball loudly. Also pitched, fastball topped out at 86 mph, works downhill to the bottom of the zone, effort in his delivery but controls it well, gets tight spin on his curveball. Good student, verbal commitment to Michigan State, professional scouts will be interested in the bat speed and athleticism. Named to 2018 Great Lakes Indoor Top Prospect List.
