Riley Owen is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-7 195 lb. frame from Olympia, WA who attends Tumwater. Owen has a big tall body with plenty of room to fill. He has a very projectable build. Owen pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. His arm works well and he showed some arm speed. Owen leans back some at balance point and finishes fairly upright. He showed command of his fastball and located it well. Owen threw an 11/5 curve ball at 66 MPH with some shape to it. He also threw a change up at 68 MPH with some sink to it. Owen pitched well and showed upside and projectability on the mound. There's more velocity in there with a few minor mechanical adjustments and should be followed closely for velocity increases.
