Will Anderson is a 2018 OF/1B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Key West, FL who attends Key West HS. Large build, present strength to frame. Primary outfielder, fields ball to the side, quick and clean exchange, smooth release, long arm action into throws with average arm strength topping out at 79 mph from the outfield. Also took reps at first base, fields ball out in front, could work on balance into gather, bounces off bag well with clean backhand, showed similar arm action and strength as in the outfield. Righthanded hitter, wide base with a slightly open stance, high hand set with a high back elbow, inside hand path, swings with intent and strength through contact, gets extended well, can generate hard contact to all fields with pop. Good student.
