Ryan Sweetman is a 2017 RHP/2B with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ who attends Salpointe Catholic HS. Medium, lean, young build with more room to add strength. Ran a 7.59 60 yard dash. Pitches from a three-quarter arm slot and has a long, full arm action. Extends well but needs to repeats his delivery more consistently. Tops at 76 mph with his fastball and flashes solid life. Mixes an 11-5 curveball at 62 mph and shows solid depth and 11-5 bite. Also uses a changeup with sink and run at 69 mph. Also swung the bat, works from an upright setup and hits to all fields. Squares it consistently and hands work well. Hits gap to gap. Hands work on the infield and has a short arm action. Throws show carry. Very good student.
