Hunter Conner is a 2020 OF/IF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cypress Ranch High School. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary outfielder, moves well on feet and gets a good first step, able to cover ground, shows nice energy and quickness to actions moving to the ball, fields out front, full arm action and works mostly on top of throws, athleticism to actions and projects with refined footwork in release. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow in the box; utilizes a simple trigger for timing at the plate. Upper body dominant swing, stays short and inside the ball with hands and remains compact through the point of contact. Generates jump off the barrel when squared and shows quickness/looseness to hands, linear path through the zone.
