Zach Rogers is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-10 136 lb. frame from Loxahatchee, FL who attends Seminole Ridge Community HS. Rogers has a smaller frame with a thin lean build. Defensively he attacks the ball on the infield and charges the ball hard. Rogers has developing actions with developing footwork. His hands work defensively and he has developing arm strength up to 72 MPH. At the plate, Rogers starts with a low hand set from a square stance. He uses a no load approach and looks to keep his hands inside the ball. He swings on a line drive path with developing bat speed and developing strength in his swing. Rogers made contact to the opposite field in BP. Good student.
