Matthew Kane is a 2018 SS/2B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Dale City, VA who attends Charles J. Colgan HS. Recorded a 6.81 60-yard dash. Very athletic frame with twitchiness and strength throughout. Primary shortstop who moved well to both sides. Hustled well to the ball and had athletic actions throughout the workout. Confident movements with a quick arm and the defense played well. Slightly open stance at the plate with a simple, easy hand load. Short, compact swing and is looking to hit the ball into the air. Is able to drive the ball into the air and is looking to do so. Advanced skill set with athleticism and tools that play up.
