Jakob Brimmer is a 2019 1B/3B, 2B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from wildomar, CA who attends Murrieta Valley. Brimmer has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively he plays back on ground balls and has developing defensive actions. He has developing arm strength up to 71 MPH and throws with a short arm action. At the plate, Brimmer starts with a slightly open stance and showed good balance through his swing. He has a short path to the baseball and swings on a line drive path. Brimmer showed some solid young hitting tools that should develop well with added size and strength gains on his young body. He showed good patience in his game at bats. Very good student.
