Victor Maria is a 2017 SS with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from San Francisco De Macoris, DU who is Home Schooled. Long and loose young build, very projectable physically. 7.14 runner, long actions in the middle infield, works well through the ball, tends to play upright, outstanding raw arm strength with big carry across the diamond, also played the outfield. Would be very interesting to see on the mound. Right handed hitter, big loading action with a high leg lift trigger, foot is late at times, hits down through the ball well, will pull off his front side and get his upper and lower half out of sync, flashes raw bat speed. Defense and arm strength ahead of his offense at this point and don't forget about the mound potential. 16 years old, international free agent.
