2015 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Marshall Awtry is a 2018 C/1B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Hockessin, DE who attends Conrad School of Science. Awtry has a long lean build with room to fill out and add strength. Hits from a slightly open stance with a deep crouched base. Loads hands smoothly, line drive swing plane with lift to the pull side. Consistent barrel to ball skills and flashed solid contact. When on time ball will jump, tends to sit back on backside, would be come more consistent with more lower half. Defensively, accurate throws on a sure transfer and release. Could gain ground more with lower half on throws. Good accuracy on throws. Good Student.
