Myles Blocker is a 2017 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Oxford, GA who attends Rockdale County HS. Blocker has a lean build with room to fill out and add strength. Hits from both sides of the plate, from the right side, starts with a slightly open stance, medium leg lift trigger. Pull approach with good extension through ball. Showed feel for barrel. From the left side, same slightly open stance. Starts with back elbow higher, medium leg lift trigger. Has quiet hands with a smooth load and path to ball. Good feel for barrel. Defensively, from the OF, loose and quick arm action, has strength in arm, ball comes out clean with carry. From 1B, has quick feet, ball comes out clean, short arm action in back, shows solid actions. Also pitches, high 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. has head tilt at release point, cureball has 1/7 spin and showed straight change up. Velocity projects with some minor adjustments in delivery.
