Robbie Goodwin is a 2017 2B/SS with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Round Hill, VA who attends Woodgrove. Goodwin has a young athletic build. Hits from both sides of the plate, from the right side, hits from a square upright stance, good barrel control with an opposite field approach. From the left side, same set up in box, more pull approach from left, makes consistent contact, line drive swing plane. Defensively, high 3/4 tight release, clean transfer and release. Good first step. Arm strength is developing. Outstanding Student.
