Roberto Diaz is a 2016 SS/RHP, IF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Vallejo, CA who attends Jesse M. Bethel. Medium frame, long thin build with room to fill. Swith hitter with a leg kick trigger, solid swing from both sides, more bat speed from the right and flashes power potential, had a very loud out i game at-bat with a 5.66 hangtime on a flyball from the right side, aggressive in-game approach at the plate. Good release time and carry on throws in the infield, able to make accurate throws while on the move at game speed, clean footwork and was a strong steady performer in games with the glove. Also pitched and topped out at 81 mph from a high three quarters arm slot with a deep 11-5 curveball and a balanced delivery. Good student.
