Daniel Daniliuk-Poirier is a 2015 C/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Billerica, MA who attends Shawsheen Valley Voc Tech. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and nice present strength to his build. Ran a 7.80 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, starts with a low set up behind the plate, receives well out front, pops out and shows a quick transfer from glove, will continue to develop arm strength on throws with incorporation of lower half. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide stance and a low hand set pulled back. Upper body swing, shows a short and direct path to the ball with the barrel, simple and repeatable swing, gets the barrel through the zone and shows a feel to hit to all fields. Very good student.
