Trevor Fonseca is a 2016 OF/LHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from West Vancouver, BC who attends West Vancouver HS. Compact athletic build with good present strength. Left handed hitter, wide stance with limited shift towards contact, low hands, nice direct path to contact, simple strong swing with few variables, swings hard and has strength at contact, pulls the ball hard and can drive and lift the ball, consistent quality game at bats. 7.42 runner, easy arm action in the outfield, accurate on line throws, has sound defensive fundamentals. Also pitched, fast paced delivery, works quickly and attacks the strike zone. Fastball topped out at 77 mph with good sinking life, turns over change up with some running action, good curveball spin with depth, has an idea how to pitch. Bat is his carrying tool. Good student.
