Garrett Guthrie is a 2017 2B/RHP/OF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Blessed Trinity Catholic HS. Medium frame, slim young build with room to fill. Hits from an open stance, deep hand load, rotational swing, pull approach, long swing, uses the opposite field well, good plate coverage. Short arm action, light actions in the infield, charges the baseball well, hands work, good release time on throws. Also pitched, fastball up to 74 mph from an over the top arm slot, solid mechanics in an online delivery, smooth mechanics, located fastball to both sides of the plate. Good student.
