Nate Bonner is a 2019 SS/RHP, OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Calhoun, GA who attends Calhoun HS. Recorded a 6.92 second 60-yard dash time. Medium athletic frame with a high waist, broad shoulders, and room for additional strength. Primary shortstop with good range and moves to the ball well. Accurate throws with carry and arm strength recorded up to 87 mph across .Fluid actions and gets in a good position to throw. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a full arm stroke and a higher three-quarters arm slot. Attacks with fastball and utilizes lower half properly. Some effort through release and flashed a breaking ball as well. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a small stride into contact. Swings with intent on a level swing plane. Has bat speed and hand quickness with a patient approach at the plate. Named to the 2018 Sunshine Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List. Good student.
