Brennen Lauffenburger is a 2016 RHP/2B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Grants Pass, OR who attends Grants Pass HS. Tall, strongly built, lean frame. Ran a 7.29 60 yard dash. Stays online with his delivery and accelerates to the plate. Works downhill and releases from a high three-quarter arm slot. Hides the ball well. Needs to refine command and repeat release point. Tops at 80 mph with his fastball and mixes a 66 mph curveball with solid 11-5 depth. Also swung the bat, keeps his hands inside the ball and hits line drives to the middle of the field. Stays short to the ball and knows how to lift. Shows solid arm strength across the infield and charges hard. Throws have good carry.
