David Shore is a 2016 C/MIF with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Wallingford, PA who attends Strath Haven. Lean, athletic build with a projectable frame and room for additional strength to be added. Ran a 7.41 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, receives out front and gains ground with lower half showing fast actions behind the plate. Receives and frames well, quick arm with solid transfer, solid arm strength with accurate throws, 1.82 top pop time. Right-handed hitter, starts with a slight wrap at start of swing and an even stance. Short path to the ball with simple and repeatable swing. Smooth swing path with a feel for the barrel, line drive contact to all fields with good bat speed coming through the zone. Excellent student.
