Tyler Scarbary is a 2016 RHP/ with a 6-2 182 lb. frame from Martinez, GA who attends Lakeside. Large frame with good strength throughout and plenty of remaining projection. Employs slow, deliberate windup on mound, hands over head into delivery, longer arm action up to high three quarters slot. Cross-body delivery, lands with front foot closed off, FB worked 78-82 and touched 83 with slight cutting action. Creates solid downhill plane on pitches and has some deception in delivery. CB showed 11/5 shape with quality depth; pitch will be sharper with more extended release. CH showed solid fading action, maintains arm speed well on pitch and creates deception as a result. Did good job of throwing strikes with all pitches. Hits with exaggerated inside-out swing path, cuts off extension some as a result, short to ball with heavy rotation in upper body. Line drive plane and results for the most part. Very good student.
