Travis Bourn is a 2016 1B/OF with a 6-5 220 lb. frame from Pearland, TX who attends Glenda Dawson HS. Has a large frame and big build, clear sign of present strength. Posted a 7.67 60 yard dash. From the infield, takes short steps to the ball, fields out in front. From the outfield, small crow hop on throws with short arm action on throws. Solid arm strength with solid carry. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a wide base, upright stance, and a high hand set. Small stride and hands extend slightly back on load. Has strength in swing with a plane that generates lift at the point of contact. Showed good carry off the barrel. Good student.
