Joseph Munoz is a 2018 LHP/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Los Fresnos, TX who attends Los Fresnos HS. Medium, athletic build with a young, lean, and projectable frame with room to fill out. Ran a 7.30 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front well, throws from a lower arm slot with accuracy to intended base. Strength and carry will continue to develop with incorporation of lower half. Also pitched and shows interesting potential, throws from an easy three-quarter slot with a short arm action in the back. Steady tempo delivery and stays balanced through, quick arm with a low effort release. Stays on line and attacks hitters, throwing exclusively fastballs, topping at 81 mph with run to arm side. Left-handed hitter, starts with a spread stance and a no stride approach. Stays balanced through swing, feel for the barrel with a contact approach to all fields and projects well with strength.
