Anthony Ricardo is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Elizabeth, NJ who attends Elizabeth. Medium build with slender present build; body projects well moving forward. Ran 40 yard dash in 5.11 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, leg lift up past belt with slight hip coil, lands closed and works across body significantly in delivery. Very full arm action to high three quarters arm slot, fastball worked 74-76 MPH with slight life to arm side. Showed 12/6-shaped curveball with good depth; also flashed changeup with occasional run. Did a good job throwing strikes consistently. Hands work pretty well into swing, starts open with front hip, gets on line drive swing plane and stays committed to the middle of the field. Can get the head out and pull the ball on a line when necessary, pretty consistent and repeatable swing. Worked out in the outfield, fields out front and shows quick feet to and through the ball, has fluidity through actions, very loose and easy arm action with the ability to get on top of throws, clocked up to 78 MPH. Very good student.
