Aramis Cruz is a 2018 OF/1B with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Central Pointe Christian HS. Tall and lanky frame with present physicality but plenty of room on the frame to add strength. Primary outfielder with a full arm action through the back. Delberate actions with room to improve the present arm strength. Short steps to the ball. Righthanded hitter with a big leg lift trigger into his weight shift through contact. Hands meet the leg lift into the swing with good rhythm. Still hands through the load. Swings with intent and is looking to elevate the baseball. Has raw power and the swing is very timing dependent. Showed present bat speed and made consistent fly ball contact. Has the strength and power to be a home run hitter with quieter mechanics.
