Tommy Savastio is a 2017 1B/OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Mechanicsburg, PA who attends Cedar Cliff HS. Medium frame, strong build, clear sign of present strength in frame. Posted a 7.47 60-yard dash. From the infield, good hands and showed solid movement around the bag, really strong backhand. Compact arm action on throws with solid arm strength. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a wide base. Has a heel raise trigger with a quick twitch lower half. Keeps his hands inside the baseball with quick and loose hands and barrel through the zone. Generates nice lift at the point of contact with a good feel for the barrel. Very balanced throughout and repeats the swing consistently. Outstanding student. Named to Mid Atlantic Top Prospect List.
