Juan Carlos Ball is a 2016 SS/2B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Elizabeth, NJ who attends Elizabeth. Large and lean build with longer limbs and a projectable build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.56 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, takes short steps to the ball and moves well to backhand, short arm action with quick transfer, fields out front, shows ability to make off balance throw, solid strength with accuracy across. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and high hand set. Incorporates lower half and shifts weight well, stays balanced with some extension in swing. Longer path with line drive swing plane. Patient approach with consistent middle to pull and middle parts of the field, quick hands with strength off the barrel.Very good student.
