Jared Burch is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 6-4 170 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Episcopal HS. Very slender young build, narrow frame. 7.20 runner, moves well to the ball in the outfield, full arm action, projectable arm strength with better footwork on throws, tall at release. Right handed hitter, late pull back stride and load, will be late at times due to timing of load, has a loose swing and some late bat speed, swings hard, mid field to right centerfield line drive contact, has some hitting tools to develop with adjustments and additional strength. Also pitched, high energy delivery with a high 3/4's arm slot, tends to cut off his extension out front. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, soft curveball. Good student.
