Will Mikula is a 2017 OF/MIF/RHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Stratford HS. Medium athletic build, projects well physically. 6.94 runner, athletic actions in the outfield, fields the ball out front with good footwork and fundamentals, makes accurate throws with good carry. Right handed hitter, closed front side to start, long and loose swing with a high extended finish out front, tends to get longer against higher velocity pitching and will have to shorten up, stays balanced and directional well. Also pitched, careful step by step mechanics, limited lower half use, high 3/4's arm slot. Upper 70's fastballs for one inning, threw strikes and was effective, didn't observe an off-speed pitch. Good student.
