Eric Vaz is a 2017 1B/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Edison, NJ who attends Seton Hall Prep. Vaz has an athletic build with room to fill out and add strength to his frame. Hits from a square medium crouched stance, short to ball with a good linen drive swing plane. Mid field contact. Hands work well to ball. Defensively, has long arm action, accurate throws off a quick exchange. Athletic around base. Outstanding student.
