Xane Washington is a 2017 SS/3B/UT with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Houma, LA who attends Terrebonne HS. Has a large frame, athletic build, and sign of present strength in build with more to fill out physically. Posted a 6.88 second sixty yard dash. From the infield, showed short footwork to the baseball and solid range, arm stays loose and showed good strength with velocity as high as 80 mph across. At the plate, has a narrow, open stance and high back elbow with a leg lift trigger. From the right side, has a short, compact swing on a line drive swing plane. From the left side, showed the same stance and contact approach. On the mound, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with good arm speed and looseness. Slight cross fire in delivery with a deep arm circle and long arm action. Fastball has some good life and curveball showed good depth and spin. Has athletic tools that should continue to develop nicely. Good student.
