Jarrett Crump is a 2019 C/ with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from High Point, NC who attends High Point Christian Academy. Recorded a 7.55 second 60-yard dash time. Smaller frame with an athletic overall build. Primary catcher with a short arm path and talent with the arm. Accurate throws and receives the ball well. Gets some carry on throws with arm heavy mechanics; would like to see more fluidity through the lower half. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set and a high back elbow. Starts from a wide base with a small leg lift trigger into contact. Still and simple lower half weight shift, can create hard hit line drive contact. Upper half dominant swing with some bat speed as well. Upright stance with an easy swing and loose path to extension. Flashed leverage to pull the ball well. Tremendous student.
