Matthew Stubblefield is a 2018 OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends Bearden HS. Medium athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. 7.06 runner, has a good loose arm from the outfield, tends to stop at the ball to throw, arm strength and release will improve with better footwork and momentum though the ball. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a low hand load, upper half swing, contact approach, sprays the ball to all fields, mostly mid field to opposite field, early release out front. Looks like a good athlete but is young on his fundamentals. Should continue to improve. Good student.
