Colin Donnelly is a 2016 LHP/1B with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Flemington, NJ who attends Immaculata. Large, athletic build with broad shoulders and present strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.66 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, shows a quick and long arm action coming through the back side with fluidity and smoothness to mechanics. Creates some whip in arm action with high three-quarter release, topped at 85 mph with fastball and will flashed arm side run at times. Shows command of the strike zone with al three pitches, lands slightly closed with slight effort at release. Changeup shows nice fading life, effective pitch in upper-70s. Changes speeds well, showed feel for slider up to 71 mph. Moves well at first base, short and quick arm action with strength and a quicker transfer. Left-handed hitter, starts with high hand set and slightly open stance. Upper body swing, short and quick swing to ball with some life off barrel, shows ability to go with outside pitch. Good student.
