Jonathan Marshall is a 2019 C/1B, 3B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Patrick Henry. Medium frame with athletic, slender present build; very good physical projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.01 seconds. Sets up hit from upright, even-based stance. Shifts well into contact and gets on line drive swing plane with hands; shows some loft to swing path as well. Repeats swing mechanics well. Stays committed to the middle of the field through approach, does a good job working to all fields as well. Worked out defensively behind the plate. Sets low with good flexibility; does a good job gaining ground out of crouch, transfers cleanly and shows solid actions throughout. Popped as low as 2.08 seconds down to 2nd base; threw 71 mph. Very good student.
