Daniel Clark is a 2017 RHP with a 6-4 170 lb. frame from Trophy Club, TX who attends Byron Nelson HS. Large frame with lean, athletic present build; body projects well moving forward. Right-handed pitcher, pitches exclusively from the stretch, high leg kick into delivery with balanced gather over the rubber, good direction to the plate online with solid leg drive. Arm is loose with easy action, throws from three quarters arm slot with slight stab through back of acceleration stroke. Does a good job creating plane to the plate, fastball showed good life with some heaviness at bottom of the zone. Showed curveball with 10/4 shape and good depth, will sweep it at times as well. Flashed changeup with good fading life to the arm side, did a good job mimicking fastball arm speed on changeup. Quality job at throwing strikes consistently and mixing three pitches with good success. Good student.
