Zachary Melugin is a 2018 C/2B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Bismarck, AR who attends Lakeside HS. Compact athletic build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, lots of body movement in his swing, rocks back and into contact from a crouched stance, uphill swing with some lift, middle of the field line drive contact, handles the barrel well, aggressive approach. Has some athletic quickness behind the plate, gets rid of the ball quickly with playable arm strength, 2.05 best pop time, also plays second base.
