George Jacob is a 2018 1B/3B, RHP with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Glenside, PA who attends Abington HS. Has a medium build with strength to frame. From the infield, fields the baseball out front, as quick footwork and shows athleticism. Stays looses in his actions and throws from a short arm action. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a high hand set, high back elbow, and leg lift trigger. Swings on a line drive swing plane with natural lift through the point of contact. Flashed hard dine drives and should continue to see more as he repeats balance in swing. On the mound, has a deceptiveness in his windup with a low leg lift. Throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a short arm circle through the back, Mixes pitches well keeping hitters off balance while throwing a lot of strikes. Solid student in the classroom.
