Evan Good is a 2018 1B/RHP/C with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Canton, MI who attends Plymouth High School. Medium frame, compact build, and present strength throughout. Posted a 7.09 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary first basemen, showed quick feet and athletic actions with accurate feeds to the bases. Arm strength up to 83 mph and threw from a compact three quarter arm slot. At the plate, started with a crouched stance, even base, and a quick leg lift timing mechanism. Swing primarily worked through upper half with a simple, direct line drive path. Worked the middle of the field consistently with intent to drive the ball in the air. Should continue to incorporate lower half into swing. Also pitched, started with a short rocker step delivery, high leg raise past belt, gathered well at balance point, loose arm action, and threw from a three quarter arm slot. Landed in line with the plate with good directionality. Works crossfire at times with a fastball that showed heavy life at 82-85 mph. Curveball showed 10/5 shape with good depth and replicated arm speed. Very good student.
