Cooper Krause is a 2020 C/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Pope HS. Recorded a 7.53 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with room to add some strength to the frame. Primary catcher with a very quick transfer and release. Very good accuracy and carry on throws, repeats his mechanics exceptionally well with little wasted movements. Impressive catch and throw skills with a best recorded pop time of 2.03 seconds. Righthanded hitter with a crouched and balanced stance. Wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Direct path to the ball and showed the ability to turn the barrel over and work to all fields with intent. Line drive approach with a short, compact swing and good present contact skills. Good student.
