Daniel Dombrowski is a 2020 RHP/ with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Lockport, IL who attends Providence Catholic HS. Medium frame with solid, athletic present build; good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.29 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, high leg lift past belt, medium-length arm stroke to three quarters arm slot, works with very quick tempo, shows good athleticism through delivery with very easy delivery overall. Fastball worked 74-78 mph with good angle when on top, fastball flashes heavy life to arm side as well. Showed curveball with good two plane shape; also flashed changeup with occasional fading action. Did a very good job pounding the zone. Sets up to hit from slightly open stance, line drive swing plane with up the middle approach, does a good job getting the barrel out on time and driving the ball on a line when timed up, best contact came right back through the middle. Worked out in the outfield as well, moves well and shows clean footwork to the ball, fields well and works through the ball, full effort into throws with arm strength clocked up to 81 mph. Very good student.
