Ryan Luse is a 2017 RHP with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ who attends Hamilton HS. Has a large frame, square shoulders, and a higher waist. Has room to fill throughout as he continues to mature physically and put on additional muscle. Right-handed pitcher that throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with full arm action through the back. Creates extension out front while maintaining a simple and balanced delivery. Leg lift comes up to his belt while his hands remain still. Stays tall on his backside with limited effort upon release, does a nice job of getting over the front side and finishing toward the plate. Creates good direction and downhill plane with his fastball, has some arm side run and occasional cutting action. Curveball has 12/6 shape with some bite, solid depth. Developing deception with changeup. Works down in the zone with all three pitches. Excellent student.
