Braden Homesley is a 2018 1B/RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Ashburn, VA who attends Riverside. Large frame with strong, sturdy present build; lots of strength throughout body. Ran 40 yard dash in 5.41 seconds. Sets up to hit with high hands and back elbow, spread out into stance, bars hands deep into lower hand load to start, shows big time bat speed on elevated plane. Gets off backside well and shifts/torques extremely well into contact, consistently drove the ball into the air with big time juice, likely has HR power had the event been held outside. Lots of strength and bat speed in swing. Worked out defensively at 1st base, shows clean footwork on and off the bag with good ability to pivot, full arm action with solid arm strength, clocked up to 75 MPH across the diamond. Named to 2017 Northeast Indoor Showcase-NJ Top Prospect List.
