Chandler Yokeley is a 2017 2B/IF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Williamson, GA who attends Pike County HS. Large frame with athletic, lean present build; very projectable body moving forward. Ran very well, posting a 6.78 seconds 60 yard dash time. Sets up to hit from wide-based, open stance with high hands and back elbow. Barrel tip into hand load, generates good bat speed through the zone on line drive swing plane with good hand path and quickness. Simple and repeatable swing mechanics, gets lower half involved, stays committed to the middle of the field on a line and shows ability to use entire field as well. Worked out defensively in the infield, moves well to both sides to surround the ball, funnels well with two hands and fields cleanly. Extended transfer and crow hop footwork, throws accurately across the diamond from multiple arm slots with velocity clocked up to 80 MPH. Very good student.
