Dillon DiBartolomeo is a 2019 C/3B with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Franklin Lakes, NJ who attends Bergen Catholic. Medium, athletic frame, young look with present strength to build, additional room to fill moving forward. Primary catcher, begins with a wide base and low set behind the plate, quick transfer into quick arm action, fuller through the back and gets on top well, shows carry and accuracy to second base, quick feet and gains ground coming out, game speed to actions. Righthanded hitter, begins with a simple set up at the plate, upright and even stance with low back elbow. Upper body dominant swing, shows loose path with lift at point of contact and quickness to hands. Very balanced swing and repeats, turns the barrel well and shows a feel for it, best contact came to pull side. Excellent student.
