Matthew Everett is a 2018 OF/RHP, IF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Hearne, TX who attends James Earl Rudder. Everett has a lean athletic build with broad shoulders and plenty of room to fill out. Hits from a square stance with a wide base. and a high hand set. Line drive swing plane with lift at contact, gets barrel to ball consistently. Defensively, primary OF, has loose arm action with good actions to ball. and ball comes out clean with some carry. On the infield, shows good arm strength and carry, arm works well. Good actions and gets into good position to throw. Also pitches. high 3/4 arm slot, medium arm action. Has good arm speed and gets through release point well. Delivery is a bit cross fire/cross body. Curveball has 11/5 shape and flashed potential with tight spin and depth. Good Student.
